Global Generators Becomes an Authorised Pramac Dealer

Global Generators is delighted to announce that we are now an authorised dealer for Pramac, one of the world's largest and longest established manufacturers of diesel generator sets. This appointment adds a second major European manufacturer to our range, alongside our existing appointments as an authorised Cummins Power Generation reseller and authorised Grupel dealer.

About Pramac

Pramac was founded in 1966 by the Campinoti family, originally as a construction equipment company, and is headquartered in Siena, Italy. Almost sixty years on, the business has grown into one of the biggest names in power generation worldwide, with a presence in more than 150 countries and nine manufacturing plants spread across Europe, Asia and South America.

Since 2016, Pramac has operated as part of Generac Power Systems, one of the largest power equipment groups globally, giving the brand significant manufacturing scale and engineering resources behind every generator they build. Their diesel generator sets are fitted with components from leading engine manufacturers such as Perkins, Baudouin and MTU, paired with high quality alternators, and the range extends all the way up to large containerised units for the most demanding industrial and data centre applications.

The Ranges We're Offering

We will be stocking three of Pramac's diesel generator ranges, giving our customers access to open, silent canopied and containerised configurations across a wide power spectrum.

GDW Range

GDW is Pramac's newest generation of stationary diesel generators, covering roughly 10 to 820 kVA. They’re built around a modular design that allows a high degree of flexibility on mechanical and electrical options, and they’re available as open sets, in standard silent canopies, or in extra silent enclosures for noise-sensitive sites. This makes GDW range gensets a strong fit for emergency standby and continuous power applications across a broad range of commercial and industrial settings.

GSW Range

GSW is one of Pramac's most established and versatile ranges, spanning everything from compact canopied units through to large containerised sets for higher power demands. At the top end, GSW generators are engineered for sectors including healthcare, data centres, telecoms and heavy industry, where dependable continuous or standby power isn't optional. Multiple voltage and frequency configurations are available, so specifications can be matched closely to your site’s exact requirements.

GBW Range

GBW covers Pramac's heaviest containerised generator sets, built for the most demanding continuous and prime power applications. These units are designed with high power, low and medium voltage projects in mind, and can be specified as part of a turnkey solution with tailor-made features for sites that fall outside a standard scope of supply.

Stock and Availability

Our first delivery of silent, canopied Pramac generators has already landed at our headquarters here in Doncaster, and stock is already moving fast, so if you've got a project in mind, now's the time to get in touch.

Large containerised Pramac generator sets are also available to order, with competitive lead times direct from the factory. As with the rest of our range, we'll be holding select sizes in stock here in the UK for immediate dispatch, so an urgent power requirement doesn't automatically mean a long wait.
