An urgent 100 kVA requirement, solved in a single day

As a leading UK generator supplier, we know first-hand that generator power requirements can often be an urgent, top-priority matter. A customer needs power now, and the solution they need is often not held in other suppliers' stock.

100 kVA prime-rated / 110 kVA standby-rated

The customer asked for a 100 kVA generator, and the C110D5Q delivers 100 kVA (80 kW) at its prime rating. Prime power is the output a generator can supply for unlimited hours on a varying load, such as a site with no mains supply.

The 110 kVA figure is its standby rating. This is a 10% overload that is permitted as the maximum output for temporary emergency use, such as during a mains power failure. Knowing both ratings helps buyers compare sets fairly, as different brands and suppliers often quote one or the other.
