The Pramac P11000 is an 11 kVA single phase diesel generator with a pre-wired AMF control panel for dependable automatic standby power. Its Stage V Yanmar engine, silent weatherproof canopy and compact European-built design make it ideal for protecting homes, commercial premises, farms and other single phase installations.
The P11000 single phase with AMF is designed for applications where power needs to be restored automatically following a mains failure. Its pre-wired auto mains failure control panel is mounted directly on the generator and includes electrical protection, creating a compact and installation-friendly package.
When incorporated into a correctly designed standby power system, the AMF controller monitors the incoming mains supply and automatically starts the generator if it detects a failure. Once mains power has returned and stabilised, the system can return the installation to utility power and stop the generator.
This automatic operation makes the P11000 particularly valuable for unattended sites or properties where waiting for someone to manually start a generator could cause disruption, damage or loss. Any connection to fixed wiring must be completed by a suitably qualified electrician using correctly rated changeover equipment, cabling and protection.
The Pramac P11000 provides a standby (ESP) rating of 11 kVA / 10 kW. This rating is intended for emergency backup applications where the generator supplies power during an interruption to the normal utility source.
Its prime (PRP) output is 10 kVA / 9 kW, providing a suitable rating for longer operating periods with an appropriately managed electrical load. This makes the P11000 a practical 9 kW diesel generator for applications that require regular independent power rather than emergency-only operation.
The 230V output is delivered at 50Hz with a 0.9 power factor. As a single phase generator, its available capacity is supplied through one phase rather than being divided across three phases. This suits properties and equipment operating from a conventional 230V single phase electrical supply.
Correct generator sizing remains essential. Pumps, refrigeration systems, compressors and other motor-driven equipment can draw several times their normal operating current during start-up. These starting demands should be included when deciding whether this 10 kW diesel generator has sufficient capacity for the intended installation.
Power is provided by a Yanmar 3TNM74F-NHPGE engine, giving the P11000 a proven mechanical foundation for professional standby and prime-power duties. This naturally aspirated, water-cooled diesel engine has a displacement of 993cm³ and operates at 3000rpm.
The engine uses mechanical speed governing and an electric starting system supported by a 12V, 45Ah battery. It has an oil capacity of 3.4 litres and a coolant capacity of 1 litre, while a low oil-pressure sensor helps protect the engine against potentially damaging operating conditions.
Compliance with Stage V exhaust-emissions requirements at 50Hz makes the P11000 suitable for buyers seeking modern generating equipment that meets current European emissions standards. The combination of a respected Yanmar diesel engine and straightforward mechanical systems also supports dependable servicing throughout the generator's working life.
A 24-litre fuel tank is integrated into the base frame, helping the P11000 1 phase remain compact while providing useful operating autonomy.
Manufacturer figures state that the generator consumes approximately 2.85 litres of diesel per hour at 75% of its continuous rating. At this load, the tank provides a stated running time of up to 8.42 hours. At 100% continuous load, consumption is approximately 4.04 litres per hour, giving a stated autonomy of 5.94 hours.
Actual fuel consumption will depend on the connected load, ambient conditions, maintenance and fuel quality. Operating the generator close to its correctly assessed working range can also help the diesel engine achieve an effective operating temperature.
An external filling point allows convenient refuelling without opening the canopy. A fuel-level sensor provides additional support for monitoring the available supply during operation.
The P11000 uses a weatherproof enclosure manufactured from galvanised sheet metal. High-quality acoustic insulation and an integrated residential-grade silencer reduce operating noise, making this silent diesel generator well suited to commercial premises, residential locations and installations where disruption needs to be minimised.
Pramac states a sound-pressure level of 68 dB(A) at 7m and 81 dB(A) at 1m. Its guaranteed sound-power level is 96 dB(A). The noise experienced at a particular site will vary according to load, distance, surrounding structures and the position of the generator.
The enclosure protects the internal components from normal outdoor conditions, but appropriate ventilation, exhaust clearance and access for maintenance must still be provided. Like every diesel generator, the P11000 must never operate inside an occupied or inadequately ventilated space.
A two-pole Mecc Alte alternator produces the generator's single phase 230V electrical output. It features Class H insulation, IP23 protection and capacitor-based voltage regulation with a listed voltage tolerance of 5%.
This configuration provides a robust source of power for many common domestic, commercial and light industrial loads. Buyers intending to supply particularly voltage-sensitive electronics, specialist control systems or equipment with significant starting currents should confirm their power-quality requirements before ordering.
The P11000 1 phase with AMF includes a circuit breaker for essential electrical protection. Final installation protection should be designed around the generator, connected load, cable lengths, earthing arrangement and applicable electrical regulations.
Measuring 1400mm long, 650mm wide and 975mm high, the P11000 combines useful standby capacity with a relatively compact footprint. Its dry weight is 328kg.
Practical handling features include:
An optional wheel kit is available where the generator needs to be repositioned around a suitable level site. A pre-heating system can also be specified when required, helping prepare the engine for dependable automatic starting in colder conditions.
This 230V diesel generator is suitable for appropriately sized standby applications including:
For a home backup generator installation, the essential circuits should be assessed rather than assuming the complete property can run simultaneously. High-demand equipment such as electric heating, showers, cookers, vehicle chargers and large pumps may require load management or a higher-capacity generator.
The Pramac P11000 single phase with AMF brings together automatic mains-failure control, a Stage V Yanmar engine and a quiet canopied design in one compact package. It is a strong choice for buyers who need an automatic standby generator with genuine professional construction and manageable fuel consumption.
Global Generators can supply the P11000 throughout the UK and arrange worldwide export. Our experienced team can also help assess the intended loads, installation environment, starting-current requirements and delivery arrangements to ensure the selected generator is properly matched to the application.
