Pramac P11000 11 kVA Three Phase Diesel Generator with AMF

The Pramac P11000 is a compact, silent diesel generator delivering 11 kVA / 8.6 kW standby power and 10 kVA / 8 kW prime power. Its pre-wired AMF control panel, Stage V Yanmar engine and robust weatherproof canopy make it a dependable solution for automated backup and commercial power applications.

Automatic Standby Power with a Pre-Wired AMF Panel

The P11000 3 phase with AMF is designed for applications where power needs to be restored automatically following a mains failure. Its auto mains failure control panel is pre-wired and mounted directly on the generator set, creating a practical foundation for an automated standby power system.

When integrated with correctly specified mains sensing and load transfer equipment, the AMF controller can detect the loss of the incoming electricity supply, start the generator and make power available for transfer to the essential load. Once the mains supply returns and stabilises, the system can transfer the load back and stop the generator after its programmed cooling period.

This makes the P11000 three phase with AMF particularly suitable for small businesses, workshops, farms, offices, retail premises, telecommunications equipment and other sites where an unattended power cut could interrupt operations.

11 kVA Standby and 10 kVA Prime Power

Rated at 11 kVA / 8.6 kW for standby use, the P11000 can provide emergency power during an unexpected mains outage. Its 10 kVA / 8 kW prime rating supports applications requiring a regular source of three phase electricity, subject to correct generator sizing, operating conditions and servicing.

As a 400V 3 phase diesel generator, it supplies approximately 15.5 A per phase at its rated output. Loads should be distributed as evenly as possible across all three phases to maintain stable performance and avoid overloading an individual phase.

The generator is suitable for equipment operating from a 400V three phase supply and can also provide 230V phase-to-neutral power when connected appropriately. The proposed electrical installation should always be assessed by a qualified generator or electrical engineer, particularly where motors, pumps, compressors or other equipment with high starting currents will be powered.

Yanmar Stage V Diesel Engine

At the heart of the P11000 is a Yanmar 3TNM74F-NHPGE diesel engine. This compact, naturally aspirated three-cylinder engine has a displacement of 993cm³ and operates at 3000rpm.

The engine is water-cooled to support consistent operating temperatures under load. A mechanical speed governor manages engine speed, while the 12V electric starting system provides straightforward automatic or manual starting. The engine is supplied with a battery, lubricating oil, coolant and a low oil pressure sensor, although fuel is not included.

Compliance with Stage V exhaust emissions requirements makes this Yanmar diesel generator suitable for current UK and European applications where applicable emissions standards must be considered. Buyers planning to use or export the generator outside these markets should confirm any destination-specific emissions and installation requirements.

Mecc Alte Alternator and Reliable Electrical Output

The P11000 three phase uses a Mecc Alte alternator to produce 400V at 50Hz. Its two-pole, brushed design incorporates compound voltage regulation, Class H insulation and an IP23 protection rating.

Class H insulation provides a strong thermal margin within the alternator windings, while the IP23 enclosure offers protection appropriate to the alternator’s installation inside the generator canopy. A circuit breaker is included to protect the generating set against excessive electrical load and fault conditions.

The unit operates at a 0.8 power factor. Generator selection should account for both kVA and kW demand because equipment with motors, transformers or other inductive components may draw more apparent power than its stated kW consumption suggests.

Silent, Weatherproof Generator Canopy

This silent diesel generator is enclosed within a durable canopy manufactured from galvanised sheet metal. High-quality acoustic material and an integrated residential silencer reduce operating noise without compromising access to the engine and alternator.

Noise pressure is rated at 68 dB(A) at 7m and 81 dB(A) at 1m. Actual sound levels at a property boundary or working position will depend on placement, nearby surfaces, background noise and installation conditions.

The weatherproof enclosure helps protect the internal components during outdoor operation. Suitable foundations, ventilation, exhaust clearance and site drainage are still essential, and the generator should not be installed in an enclosed or poorly ventilated area.

A hinged canopy provides access to the internal components for inspection and servicing. The enclosure also includes an external fuel filling point, allowing the 24-litre tank to be refuelled without opening the main canopy.

Fuel Consumption and Running Time

Fuel consumption is approximately 2.47 litres per hour at 75% of the prime rating, providing up to 9.72 hours of operation from the integrated tank. At 100% prime load, consumption increases to approximately 3.48 litres per hour, with a corresponding running time of around 6.9 hours.

These figures make the P11000 a fuel-efficient option for short to medium-duration power cuts and planned operating periods. Actual consumption and autonomy will vary according to electrical load, ambient conditions, fuel quality, maintenance and the condition of the generator set.

A built-in fuel level sensor supports monitoring through the control system. For longer unattended operation, any external fuel arrangement must be designed specifically for the generator and installed in accordance with relevant fuel storage, fire safety and environmental requirements.

Compact Design for Easier Handling and Installation

Measuring 1400mm long, 650mm wide and 975mm high, the P11000 3 phase is compact enough for installations where available space is limited. Its dry weight of 332kg allows it to be transported and positioned using appropriate mechanical handling equipment.

The reinforced base frame includes forklift access for practical movement around a depot or installation site. A central lifting point provides another controlled handling option when suitable rated lifting equipment is used. Anti-vibration mounts between the engine, alternator and supporting frame help isolate mechanical vibration from the canopy and base.

An optional wheel kit is available for applications where occasional movement over a suitable level surface is required. An optional pre-heating system can also be specified when site temperatures or automatic starting requirements make additional cold-start support advisable.
